Erin Murdock

Since 2016 Erin Murdock has been working under the moniker “SNIPGLASS.” Preferring a bright and saturated palette, imagery in her work is often inspired by psychedelia and late twentieth-century animation. Her interest in stained glass was first made possible through Judith Schaechter, from whom she learned the craft. Murdock received a BFA in Craft + Material Studies from University of the Arts. In the summer of 2017, she was a Teaching Assistant for Cappy Thompson & Dick Weiss' "High Test: Paint & Lead" class at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA. Murdock’s current focus "behind the scenes" is to make stained glass education more accessible. She is working on securing & establishing a stained glass education center within the next 10 years.
