Rainer Schmitt will share his 40 year journey in glass, exploring and experimenting with the material. Recently, he has found himself at the helm of a glass studio and a glass manufacturer - two companies that encompass legacy but that must also innovate with enthusiasm to face the challenges of the day. Schmitt’s passion for the material has not waned in the slightest in over 40 years and he will share some of the things he is most excited about in the glass world today.
