You’re Invited: The SGAA will celebrate its 99th Annual
Conference at the Marriott Oakland City Center in the summer of 2008. The
Conference will focus on West Coast glass trends. Oakland has a great deal to
offer, with many of the artists who helped to create the dynamics of change
found there. The Conference’s outstanding schedule will include demonstrations,
lectures, panel discussions, and an art glass tour. Special events will include
pre-Conference workshops, the Dorothy L. Maddy Silent Auction and the SGAA
Annual Raffle. Post-Conference tours are being planned to San Francisco and the
Napa Valley. The official Conference hotel will be the Marriott Oakland City
Center, located at 1001 Broadway. Single/Double rooms are only $109 per night.
Conference hotel rooms filled very quickly last year! Make your reservations
right away. Call 800.991-7249, and reference the Stained Glass Association of
America. Remember: You can cancel or make changes to reservations up to 72 hours
